Sodium citrate- Sodium Citrate is a buffering agent, it helps maintain the pH level of a solution. The effectiveness of sodium citrate as a water softener is attributed to its ability to bind with Ca⁺⁺ and Mg⁺⁺ ions, which are the primary minerals responsible for water hardness. When sodium citrate is added to hard water, it forms complex compounds with these ions, preventing them from precipitating and causes scale buildup.

Citric acid- It is pH adjuster to maintain the desired acidity or alkalinity of these products. Citric acid can also function as a chelating agent, helping to stabilize the formulas by binding to metals ions that may negatively impact their stability.

Sodium EDTA- It is primarily used as chelating agent. It forms stable complexes with metals ions. It is used in cleaning products, detergents, and personal care products to improve their effectiveness by sequestering metal ions that could interfere with their performance.

Direction of Use:
Step 1: Shake well before use.
Step 2: Add 25 ml of softener to one bucket (15–20 Litres) of water.
Step 3: Once dissolved, use this mixture for bathing and hair wash.
